For the past 50 years, I’ve proudly called the Grand Forks, ND area home — and I truly love this little corner of the world and the wonderful people who fill it. I share my life with my partner of 15 years and our Boston Terrier, Bo — the complete opposite of our beloved Thor, who, after 16 incredible years, crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Both have brought (and still bring) so much love and laughter into our lives.

Ben was a great officiant! Our wedding this past Saturday was speculator and Ben helped me out significantly trying to coordinate everything together. Our wedding was magical and spot on. He helped plan our wedding months ahead and prepared once we got closer and got everything together when the day came. He was very professional and explained everything well and documents were spot on. I would recommend him most definitely and two thumbs up.

I wanted a small casual ceremony and that’s exactly what I got. Ben was wonderful, adding humor and making my husband and I laugh throughout the short ceremony. It was beyond perfect. I loved the personal touch with the way he wrote and told our story and how hints of it were threaded throughout the ceremony. We could not have asked for a better officiant than Ben! Although we only met a few times, his preparation was so thoughtful and thorough that several of our guests asked how long we had known him. The message he crafted was so warm, personal, and meaningful that everyone assumed he was a close personal friend. Ben was professional in guiding us through the paperwork, creative in offering unique ideas for our ceremony, and incredibly diligent in learning our story from us and our closest friends. His delivery on the big day was the perfect blend of warmth and humor. We just had our wedding last weekend and Ben was our Officiant. Ben was absolutely nothing short of amazing! From the beginning with the chemistry check, to him introducing us for the very first time, he was awesome. Ben was always very responsive to our emails, he walked us through step-by-step of the script (besides the love story), and he was always timely to each meeting. We initially wanted a family or friend to officiate our wedding, but could never agree on a person and didn't want to put them on the spot. When we can across and met for the very first time we knew he was the right fit for us. The best part is he'll tailor it to however you imagine it, but offers a lot of expertise and ideas to make it amazing. Overall, I would recommend Ben to anyone that is in a similar situation. We wanted something a little bit serious/formal, but also have some funny moments and Ben just nailed it all the way around. I would definitely recommend Ben to any couples getting married in the future! Ethan C.

I have so many good things to say about our correspondence with Ben! He was fantastic at answering all my questions and helped me figure out what options worked best for us. We ended up proposing multiple different plans and Ben graciously worked with me until we finally settled on a plan! He has fantastic communication and the process was super easy! He showed up before the wedding started, offered all the help we could need and carried out a great ceremony!
