Ben Heit from Forever the Knot Certified as a Local LGBTQ Weddings Expert
Grand Forks, ND, 9/28/2020 -- Ben Heit from Forever the Knot completed the LGBT+ wedding certification course taught by Equality Institute. Ben Heit is the area’s new local LGBTQ wedding expert and the first officiant/vender from North Dakota to complete the course.
Equality Institute’s certification course focuses on the nuances and details relevant to the
LGBTQ wedding ceremonies and weddings. The course covers language, terminology, laws and policies, LGBTQ wedding trends and traditions, wardrobe, invitations, marketing and much more.
“I'm quite excited to have been part of this course. I want to be known as an officiant that that believes and fosters inclusion. Marriage is the union between two people, the love between two people. I am deeply honored that people trust me in helping them celebrate that union. I love that I also can be a resource for my couples when it comes to looking for other vendors. Vendors that all hold the same fundamental values that I hold.” said Ben Heit.
Ben Heit showed true commitment to understanding the ways wedding professionals need to be sensitive to the unique needs of LGBTQ couples. He took the time to complete homework to ready his business to truly be equipped to understand how to serve these couples with compassion.” said Bernadette Smith, founder and President of Equality Institute.
