For the past 50 years, I’ve proudly called the Grand Forks, ND area home — and I truly love this little corner of the world and the wonderful people who fill it. I share my life with my partner of 15 years and our Boston Terrier, Bo — the complete opposite of our beloved Thor, who, after 16 incredible years, crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Both have brought (and still bring) so much love and laughter into our lives.

I wanted a small casual ceremony and that’s exactly what I got. Ben was wonderful, adding humor and making my husband and I laugh throughout the short ceremony. It was beyond perfect. I loved the personal touch with the way he wrote and told our story and how hints of it were threaded throughout the ceremony. Ben Heit just officiated our wedding on Saturday, and we are so happy with how everything turned out! I loved everything about our ceremony, it flowed so nicely!
